"Thank you again for making it such an amazing trip. It was so much more than a cooking course - it was a sensory experience of note, with a cultural and history tour included - so much more than what I bargained for."

Three-Five Day Tours of Provence
Here are a couple of options that might tempt you. You are welcome to begin with these and ask me about substitutions, more cooking classes, more hiking, restaurant outings, wine-tastings ...
The three day tour option at 1180E for two people includes: outings, hotel pick-up, and lunch.
The more guests, the lower the cost per person.
For 4 people the price is 1440E
For 6 people the price is 1780E
These prices are for a tour departure from Arles/Avignon/Nîmes/St. Rémy or a small neighboring village near these cities.
Day 1
Visit an outdoor market to gather some nibbles for a picnic. Late morning arrival at the cheese-maker's, visit with the goats,
learn how the cheeses are made. Lunch at the cheese-maker's or by a lovely hill-top lake.
After a short walk in the hills, perhaps picking some fresh herbs to take home, off to visit an organic vintner to taste his wines.
Late afternoon finds us in St. Réy de Provence, visiting one of the best chocolatiers of the region. We can take some time to enjoy
a late afternoon drink, hot or cold; or explore the lovely shops and galleries.
Back to your hotel in time to change for dinner.
Day 2
Off to visit the Luberon, and some of the most lovely villages in France:
Gordes, Roussillon, Lacoste, and more. We will lunch together in a
village cafe and continue touring and exploring. After a late-afternoon drink (hot or cold) we will head back to your hotel.
Day 3
A morning visit to our favorite baker, followed by a cooking class in Arles with Erick Vedel.
This is a nearly all day affair! I'll come back and get you after lunch, and join you for a cup of coffee. We will then
go for a drive into the Camargue and walk off your fabulous meal barefoot in the sands of the Mediterranean. Between the feast
and the salt air, feel free to doze as I bring you back to your hotel.
The five day tour option for two is priced at 1880E; for 4 guests: 1960E; and for 6 guests: 2240E
Please note the three days above, and add below:
Day 4
An outing to the spectacular Mediteranean rock formations of the Callanques, to hike,
to lunch in a little fisherman's
restaurant known only to locals. On the way back, a visit to the Vieux Port in Marseille, where we can cross the Port on the
“Ferry Bo-At” just like in the Marcel Pagnol movies. A reservation in a special Bouillabaisse restaurant is possible.
Be prepared for a rather late return to your hotel.
Day 5
A leisurely visit to the majestic Pont du Gard. We can take a short walk back into the woods to see
the remains of the aqueduct as it weaves through the hills.
Depending on the weather, the Gardon river is a marvelous place to swim, or kayak, or simply to dip your feet while nibbling on local
saucisson and fresh fruit. In the afternoon we will head over to the exquisite village
of Uzès for a late-afternoon drink, pastry,
coffee and a wander through the medieval arcades. Rarely will you see a more lovely town. Then back to your hotel.
