"Thank you again for making it such an amazing trip. It was so much more than a cooking course - it was a sensory experience of note, with a cultural and history tour included - so much more than what I bargained for."

Active Tours

Provence guided toursHiking: I love to hike and to lead hikes. And I've a whole range of possibilities for different levels, durations, and scenery. Amongst them: through the vineyards and hills of the Cotes du Rhone Villages/Dentelles de Montmirail area; over the Alpilles, from Les Baux to St. Remy; behind the Pont du Gard; over the cliffs (known as the Calanques) by the sea; to the top of Ste. Victoire (as painted by Cezanne); I will bring along a picnic with all sorts of delicious local delicacies, and one of my famous quiches, good wine and water. 300E/day 10E/person for picnic.

Kayaking anyone? In the sea or down the river and under the Pont du Gard? I can help arrange this and come along as your guide, providing lunch or directing you to a great local cafí. 300E/day not including kayaking fees.

Horseback riding: there are numerous possibilities for riding in the Camargue and the Alpilles. How would the combination of a morning ride followed by a picnic, and an afternoon village or artisan visit be? 300E/day not including ranch fees.
