"Thank you again for making it such an amazing trip. It was so much more than a cooking course - it was a sensory experience of note, with a cultural and history tour included - so much more than what I bargained for."

Bed and Breakfast

the entryLet Arles be your home-base in Provence. Erick has lovingly renovated the Bed and Breakfast, individually decorating each of the five spacious rooms. Upon entering you'll see a pleasing blend of the old and the new: modern plumbing and air conditioning, fully renovated 10th century walls, and beamed ceilings from the Renaissance. Comfortable and unique. Enjoy the lending library in each room-- take one, leave one, as you choose. You'll find something to your taste, and even in your language.

the ochre room Located right in the center of the city of Arles, in the crook of the Rhône River, just off the tree-shaded, Place Voltaire, the B & B is just below the 2000 year old Roman Amphitheatre. There is ample parking nearby. For those who come by train, it is just a 5 minute walk from the train station -- Note that there are directions on the site to print out and bring with you.

Two rooms look onto an inner courtyard, two onto a small street, and the last on top of the house has views in all four directions.

The rooms are 85E the first night for a couple with breakfast. 140E for two nights, and 70E for each additional night. 15E per additional person in the room, children under 12 are 10E.

The room with the mezzanine is perfect for 2 couples, or a family, or simply people who appreciate space and tall ceilings. It has a large bed below, and two twin beds above.

the blue room The blue room has two twin beds that can be fit together as a king, an antique wrought iron bed that serves as either a couch, or a child's (or small person's) bed. It features an antique bathtub and a multi-jet shower.

the green room

The green room, colored in tones from the sea, sand and foam, can be a comfortable double or triple. It has two twin beds which fit together to form a king and a third single bed. Enjoy the funky multi-jet shower.

the yellow room The yellow room has both a large (full-size) bed and a single bed, a large angled bath-tub with jets, and a large shower.

the pilot's cabin The Pilot's cabin with views in all directions, is nestled on the 3rd floor. Panneled in a variety of lovely woods, it is a warm and cozy spot for a couple or a private single. With shower (no bath).

The rooms are no smoking. Children are welcome, and a baby bed, toys and childrens' books are at your disposal. Breakfast is served from 8:30am - 9:30am, with home-made crêpes, fresh pastries, Erick's jams made with locally grown fruit, coffee, tea or hot chocolate, juice, and fresh fruit in season.
