Provence Home Rental

Have you ever dreamed of spending time in Provence? Would you like to live in a much-loved and super-comfortable house with your family or friends for a few weeks or months, or even a year? While I'm living and working in the States, my four bedroom Avignon home is available to rent. Rates vary depending on time and duration of your stay, from $1300/week during high season (June 25 - July 31) to $750/week low season (late fall/winter). If you're interested in it for the whole year, 1200Euros/mo plus utilities.

The house is located on the Ile de la Barthélasse , Avignon - an island in the Rhône River. Super convenient, it is 5 min to town (15 door to door to the closest cinema); 10 minutes from the train station, and easy driving distance to wineries (Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Costières de Nîmes, les Baux de Provence, Gigondas and more), Roman monuments, the Pope's Palace & (should you be considering a sabatical year) great schools. Close to everything, but in the quiet country surroundings of wheat fields, fruit orchards and tree covered walking paths by the Rhône. Pets are welcome. FYI - for Tango afficionados, there are numerous milongas each week at an easy drive.  The skill level is high, the welcome warm.
